This site contains affiliate links.

If you click one and go on to make a booking, the company pays me a commission. You pay the same price you would have paid otherwise. There is no markup and no surcharge.

What that means in practice

I earn commission on car rental and accommodation bookings made through links on this site. I do not accept payment for reviews. I do not accept free stays or free rentals in exchange for coverage. No company has approval over what appears here, and none has seen an article before publication.

Comparison tables are built from list prices collected from the companies’ own websites, on dates stated in each article. Where a company’s own booking channel is cheaper than the one that pays me, that is stated. Where the best option for a particular traveller is one I earn nothing from, that is stated too.

Why the disclosure appears at the top of every article

United States Federal Trade Commission guidance requires that a material connection between a publisher and an advertiser is disclosed clearly and conspicuously. A note buried at the foot of the page does not meet that standard, so the disclosure appears before the first affiliate link in every article.
